Family life is complex and there is no one size fits all solution to day to day challenges and experiences. At Advocate for Me,  Key Worker Specialist Services, we understand, from personal experience, what it feels like to be doing the best you can for your child/children but at times feeling overwhelmed or struggling to meet the individual needs of all family members. 

Parent coaching, we believe is a partnership with parents/carers. It involves acknowledging the goals you have for your child, understanding your unique family values and context and working with you to move forward. Our coaching model aims to support parents to integrate intervention strategies into simple steps that fit into their daily lives. Achieving this by modelling, problem solving and skill building together. 

Emphasis is on the connection between parent and child, the collaboration between the team around the child and developing parental efficacy.
